Affiliation to The Lancashire Archery Association (LAA) & The Northern Counties Archery Association (NCAS)

County and Regional affiliation fees MUST be paid by all AGB members of LAA Clubs and those AGB Direct Members who nominate Lancashire as their county – to cover 12 months from September 1st 2025.

To cover 12 months from September 1st 2025 to 30th September 2026 the fees are:

  • Senior Members: LAA £6.00 + NCAS £3.00 = £9.00 each

  • Disabled Members: LAA £4.00 + NCAS £0.30 = £4.30 each

  • Under 21s + Juniors: LAA £2.00 + NCAS £0.30 = £2.30 each

  • University Clubs: LAA £20 + NCAS £30 = £50.00 (club block fee)

  • School Clubs: = £5 (club block fee)

The following information should be read by all AGB Direct Members:

Archery GB (AGB) require that all direct members pay affiliation fees to their county and region. These fees are not collected by AGB.

Many archers in Lancashire now join Archery GB (AGB) directly, rather than through their clubs. During this process they may claim affiliation to Lancashire Archery Association (LAA), but fail to pay their county or regional fees.

It is the individual archer’s responsibility to ensure that they or their club has paid their county and regional affiliation fees.

The LAA considers that non-payment of county and regional fees by Direct Members means that such members are not affiliated to the county or regional associations should not be eligible to compete for: county trophies, claim county records or benefit from LAA sponsorship.

LAA adopts the following policy:

  • The LAA Treasurer and Secretary shall maintain a list of all AGB Direct members who claim to be Lancashire Archers in Sport:80 and have paid their LAA and NCAS fees.

  • This ‘direct member affiliation’ list will be available for the LAA Tournament Organisers (TOs) and LAA team managers to check against tournament entries and eligibility to represent the county at squad/teams events.

Any archer who is a Direct Member of AGB, but who has not paid their LAA/NCAS fees will not be eligible to:

  • Compete for Lancashire medals and trophies at county tournaments (they may compete in open/visitor categories)

  • Claim any LAA county records

  • Be eligible for selection to any team to represent the county or attend county team/squad training events

  • Claim any expenses or entry fees that archers representing the county would normally be eligible to claim

  • Claim any grants or subsidies that the LAA awards to LAA affiliated archers who represent their country

  • Receive emails and news updates from the LAA Secretary.

Retrospective payment of affiliation fees:

Archers who wish to enter LAA county tournaments and compete for LAA trophies must ensure that they have paid their affiliation fees prior to tournament entry. Retrospective payment of affiliation fees will NOT be considered as paid unless payment is made and confirmed prior to the publication of the tournament target list. Payment on the day of the tournament will not be accepted.

Archers who have not paid their county and regional fees may NOT retrospectively pay the outstanding fees when claiming a Lancashire Record. Affiliation fees MUST have been paid and confirmed prior to the date of the shoot for which the record is being claimed.

Payment on the day of the shoot for which a record is being claimed will not be accepted.

Archers who wish to represent the county and/or attend county squad/team events must ensure their affiliation fees have been paid in full before attending any events. Such Archers may retrospectively pay the outstanding fees at any time prior to attending an event.

Retrospective payments of county and regional fees for the current year will expire when the individual archers current AGB membership expires and the next years county and regional affiliation fees will become due from the date of AGB membership renewal.
