As an official LAA shoot the host club may claim expenses as listed on the Tournament Organisers page.
Judges will need to be contacted in plenty of time in order to book them for the shoot. Please contact the SPOC – details on LAA website.
The shoot will consist of two Warwick rounds, one shot in the morning and one in the afternoon – archers may shoot one or both rounds. There will be a lunch break, the host club may wish to provide catering/refreshments – this should be mentioned on the entry form.
Afternoon spaces. Priority will be given to archers who did not shoot in the morning, any spaces left can be made available to archers who wish to shoot both sessions.
The shoot will be conducted under UK record status/world record status rules, and the LAA Chronotir lighting system will be used at this shoot, but with latitude given with regards to the archers being newer and/or inexperienced.
There will be a short presentation (lasting about 30-45 mins) by LAA Judges at the start of each session – this will include: what to expect at competitions, etiquette, inspections, scoring, bouncers, lighting systems etc.
Extra advice on: what clothing to take, tents, nutrition, warming up exercises and equipment needed, could also form part of the information available on the day.
Experienced club archers may shoot – one on each boss – to facilitate scoring, help build confidence and problem solving.
Club archers/field party should also be available to assist in any way that is required on the day.
Medals will be given for both morning and afternoon shoots – the medal ceremony for the morning shoot will take place before lunch. Any archer shooting both rounds will only be eligible for a medal in the morning shoot.
